Bobby Ray Parks points to heaven, as a nod to his “guardian angels,” after delivering the winning assist in National University’s 70-65 win against Ateneo.

In FCF’s post-game interview with the two-time UAAP MVP, Parks dedicates the team’s first-ever twice-to-beat advantage to late father Bobby Ray, Sr. and late girlfriend Maan Panganiban.

“They (God, Maan Panganiban, and Bobby Ray Sr.) are my loved ones, and they’re really important to me. Everyone has their own belief. For me, I believe that they are out there looking for me, and God is out there for me through thick and thin,” said Parks of his gesture.

Parks, who played through a wrist injury late in the game, got his teammates more involved and resulted in the wide-open trey by Dennice Villamor to seal their victory.
