National University and De La Salle University dominated the individual awards at the UAAP men’s and women’s basketball respectively, while recognition for best rookies went to the university of the Philippines.

Ben Mbala of DLSU and Jack Danielle Animam of NU are the MVPs for this season. Aminam was joined by teammates Rhena Itesi and Ria Nabalanfor women’s basketball mythical five while schoolmate Rodolfo Alejandro made it in the men’s basketball’s counterpart. Mbala’s teammate Ricci Rivero is also in the mythical five.

Meanwhile, Rookies of the Year for both divisions came from the Maroons in Juan Gomez de Liano and Marian Domingo.
