We came in expecting a silent concert as advertised. But music-loving Pinoys couldn’t resist singing along to Bamboo and Ely Buendia as they sang their hits at Rockwell Tent for Sony’s MDR Live.
Pushing their MDR headphones while supporting the music industry, Sony brought together these two icons to together on stage, something that’s unthinkable for 90’s kids but a pleasure for everyone present that night.
With Bamboo and Ely performing behind glass, audience present plugged in their headphones to “hear music at its purest form.”
Fullcourtfresh.com got to witness the first silent concert in the Philippines through Sony on Thursday night, and were lent MDR sets to use during the concert.
The audio experience was top notch. But taking our headphones off to hear everyone sing along to Hallelujah and Magasin like a choir was surreal.
