As the Ateneo Blue Eagles Men’s Football Team were battling the FEU Tamaraws Men’s Football Team at the Rizal Memorial Stadium on December 15, 2024, national team standout and former King Eagle Jarvey Gayoso got married to Dani Gutierrez in a garden wedding at Pintoresco in Alfonso, Cavite.
The important milestone was said to be the reason why the Phnom Penh Crown left winger was not in the Philippine Men’s National Football Team (PMNFT) lineup that went against Laos in the ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup (AMEC).
Jarvey posted photos of the ceremony on his Instagram account with the caption, “The Perfect Weekend”. The groom wore a Barong Tagalog, while the bride wore a strapless white gown. According to the couple’s wedding website jarveyanddani.com, the motif was “bright and floral”.
Jarvey’s former Ateneo team mates Rupert Baña and Julian Roxas were among the groomsmen.
The wedding happened a year after Jarvey posted a photo of him with Dani wearing an engagement ring. Jarvey captioned that photo “Ready to spend the rest of my life giving you headaches 🤣”.
A source from the PMNFT assured that Jarvey will be available for the AMEC match versus Vietnam to be held on December 18, 2024, at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
