Ed Daquioag and Kevin Ferrer led University of Santo Tomas’ two-man show to fend-off Adamson University’s last-minute push, 70-64, at the UAAP Season 78 opening night, Saturday at the Araneta Coliseum.
Combined, the two scored 52 of the team’s 70 points. Daquioag made 28 points and three steals, while Ferrer had 24 and dished four assists.
