NBA reigning Most Valuable Player Steph Curry hit the hard court this off-season as he top-billed the Under Armour Roadshow Campaign on Saturday. The Bay Area star showed off his basketball wares in front of thousands of passionate Filipino fans inside the Mall of Asia Arena.
Curry played pickup games and engaged in three-point shooting contests with young players. The other half of the Splash Brothers also rattled the rim down with a reverse dunk to the delight of his roaring supporters.
Golden State Warriors’ hot-shooting point guard paid a visit to the nation’s capital as part of Under Armour’s Asian tour.
Fans and media alike were able to get up close to Curry as he gave a press conference before proceeding to the Mall of Asia Arena where legions of his fans waited. Curry, came off a successful season after running away with the MVP award and bagging the Larry O’Brien trophy for his team.
The former Davidson star also unveiled his new signature shoes, the Curry Two which would hit Philippine stores starting on Monday.
Curry is off to stops in three Chinese cities to cap off the UnderArmour Roadshow Campaign.
