Amidst the hoopla of the highly-anticipated De La Salle-Ateneo matchup in the UAAP on Sunday, an all-star cast of celebrities took some time off of their hectic schedule to put up a fund-raiser game for a good cause.

Initiated by actor Gerald Anderson, HERO Ball was held at the Makati Coliseum to raise funds for the HERO Foundation, an organization that aids children of Filipino soliders from the armed forces that were killed in action or completely incapacitated while in the line of duty.

Anderson, together with his fellow STAR Magic celebrities including Matt Evans, Derek Ramsay, John Hall, Marco Alcaraz, Jhong Hilario, John Prats, Eric Tai, and many others came together to put up the event that would directly benefit the foundation.

On hand during the event was veteran FCF lensman Vyn Radovan to capture some of the moments during the charity event.
