In anticipation of the reigning NBA Most Valuable Player’s arrival to kickstart UnderArmour Roadshow Campaign in the Philippines, a fan got his feet set and shoes fresh for a possible chance of a lifetime: getting Steph Curry sign his own pair of the Golden State’s star’s signature shoes.

Val Marvin Macanas did not go home empty-handed as Curry himself stamped his signature on the fan’s UnderArmour Curry One.

“I bought two pairs talaga for this. Yung isa di ko gagamitin, ilalagay ko sa glass to preserve them. Yung isa pang-basketball ko lang talaga.” said Macanas who was all smiles after he was able to have his kicks signed by the Warriors’ star.

Macanas braved the sea of mediamen and fans alike at Fairmont Hotel just to get close to Curry and eventually had his kicks signed by the NBA star.

But he was not the only lucky fan that day. At his Mall of Asia session, the champ could be seen approaching fans at courtside, willingly signing magazines and jerseys. Lucky participants of the scrimmage were also able to take selfies with Curry.

“Nafeel ko yung Aura niya. Very welcoming siya,” said Macanas.

Curry headlined UnderArmour’s Roadshow campaign which started in Tokyo and will be off next to three cities in China. UnderArmour also unveiled the new Curry Two which will hit Philippine stores starting on Monday.
