The Philippine Men’s Football Team outclassed the Sri Lankan booters 4-0 to seal their meeting with Kuwait for the next qualifying match for the 2014 World Cup.

Chieffy Caligdong led the Azkals’ scoring spree in the 18th minute, while Phil Younghusband’s was counted in the 40th minute after the linesman’s no-goal call was overruled by the referee.

5 minutes into the second half, Angel Guirado beat the Sri Lankan keeper so score at an angle and bring the Azkals to 4-0, while Phil converted a penalty given after a foul on Schrock in the goalie’s box.

After this victory, the Azkals will face Kuwait away on the 23rd at at home on the 28th.
