De La Salle University’s Joshua Torralba made himself known in the very best way for a Green Archer, a heroic play in an Ateneo-LaSalle game. Torralba landed a big three-pointer, only his second of the night, with 35 seconds left giving La Salle a slim one-point lead over Ateneo.
DLSU went on to win the game, 80-76, in front of 17,728 people at the Mall of Asia Arena over their archrivals and forced a tie at third place in the standings. Both teams now sport 4-3 win-loss records at the end of the first round of UAAP Season 78.
