The Ateneo Lady Eagles united, stayed happy, and showed a strong heart in upsetting the National University Lady Bulldogs as veterans Alyssa Valdez, Ella de Jesus, and Denden Lazaro unleashed their a-game against their physically superior yet inexperienced foes. They will face the undefeated De La Salle Lady Spikers on Wednesday for the third installment of the Ateneo-La Salle rivalry in the UAAP women’s volleyball finals.

On the other hand, the Lady Bulldogs suffered a second semis breakdown in a flagship tournament this Season 76, relinquishing their twice-to-beat advantage like what just happened in first semester’s men’s basketball tournament. It was also the last game for towering spiker Dindin Santiago in a superb, though controversial, UAAP career.
