During his prime, Goran Ivanisevic was known as a stone-cold power server that put down his opponents via one-shot kills.

Now playing as a legend for the United Arab Emirates Royals in the 2014 Coca-Cola International Premier Tennis League (IPTL), Ivanisevic has mellowed down a bit – even playing along with one of the cheerleaders that danced on the court in between points during his match against Spaniard Carlos Moya.

Their match, the first of five sets between UAE and the Manila Mavericks, ended in a 11-set showdown, where Ivanisevic bested Moya in the five-minute shootout, 6-5.

In the end, the Royals eventually outlasted the Mavericks, 29-24.
