UST Head coach Pido Jarencio crosses the entire court as Abdul is left behind after a time out is called in the last minutes of their match against UE. Martin San Diego | FCF
If there’s one thing going for University of Santo Tomas head coach Pido Jarencio, it’s that he really is a “player’s coach.”
When forward Aljon Mariano re-injured his ankle in the third quarter, he was the first one to rush to the aid of his ward and even carried him off the floor to receive immediate treatment.
As University of the East completed a huge turnaround during the fourth quarter, center Karim Abdul was left huffing and puffing under their goal after a timeout had been called, prompting Jarencio to walk towards him on the other end of the floor to ask if he was okay.
