Letran cager wounded, wife dead in shooting

Letran’s Franz Dysam’s wife Joanne was declared dead on arrival while the cager is still recovering from injuries after a shooting incident in Quezon City on Saturday.

Letran’s Franz Dysam’s wife Joanne was declared dead on arrival while the cager is still recovering from injuries after a shooting incident in San Juan City on Saturday.

Mrs. Dysam “expired” at 8pm at San Juan Medical Center due to injuries, Letran’s Fr. Vic Calvo told FCF’s Merck Maguddayao. The player will be transferred to UST to receive further treatment for gunshot wounds.

Dysam recorded 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 turnovers in his 9-minute game time to help his team beat Lyceum, 61-52. The couple came from the NCAA game when they were attacked by gunmen whose identities and motives are still unknown as of posting.
