Far Eastern University escaped University of the Philippines’ tight defense, 75-58, to bring home its third victory in UAAP Season 78 men’s basketball tournament, Sunday, September 20, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Despite 23 turnovers that led to UP’s 21 points, FEU’s success came from a well-balanced attack, with 11 of 13 players having a share in the stat sheet. Four Tamaraws scored in double digits, Raymar Jose had 11, Mike Tolomia with 11, Achi Inigo 10, and Roger Pogoy 10.
