SM MOA, Pasay City— It was not just any ordinary day at the SM MOA Sky Pitch last 27th of November, it was an extraordinary one for any Filipino football fan, as Adidas unveiled the very first Adidas Football Store in Southeast Asia. Located at the main entrance of the Sky Pitch, the store is surely be a treat for any football fan because it sells purely Adidas football apparel and gear.
Along with the unveiling of the store, Adidas also presented the 2025-2026 Adidas Filipinas jersey, which comes in two color variants: the blue jersey, which represents the team’s strength and rhythm, and the elegant and classy white jersey, (which I think appeals to many) that represents renewal and purity—marking a new chapter in the journey of the Filipinas.
“As we open this store at the top of the beautiful Mall of Asia, which of course, is an icon here in Manila, football has always been a part of the Adidas’ DNA. While this is a country of basketball, we are extremely proud to be able to open this store and continue our commitment and the path forward for the sport,” Adidas Philippines General Manager David Sexton excitedly shared at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The President of the Philippine Football Federation, John Gutierrez, was also in attendance at the event and he was joined by Adidas representatives and Filipinas team members Merryl Serrano, Chandler McDaniel, Inna Palacios and team captain Hali Long. They all had the honor of cutting the ribbon and declaring the football-only store open to the public.
The Filipinas kit sells at Php 3,800.00 each and it will have a wider release come December 15; it will be available in selected Adidas stores (Glorietta, Two Parkade, Uptown Mall, Venice Grand Canal and Bootcamp).
Also available are the locally-themed name sets of Hali Long and Inna Palacios, which is priced at Php 1,000.00 each. On the other hand, most player name sets are available with the standard font and it costs Php 350.00. Those on display and available at the store opening were the name sets of Sara Eggesvik, Alexa Pino, Merryl Serrano, the McDaniel sisters and Sarina Bolden.
Liverpool FC fans will be delighted to know that name sets of selected team members are also available. FCF got information that name sets of other Adidas-sponsored teams like Arsenal FC and Real Madrid CF will be available by December.
The football fan in me was so giddy to see that we already have a jersey customization with official fonts ready and available in the Philippines. Being an Arsenal fan myself, having a store dedicated to Adidas football really made me feel very excited because I don’t have to go all the way to Singapore just to have my jerseys customized.
Thank you, Adidas for giving us, football fans in the Philippines, this special store!
