The Philippine national men’s football team got hit with a heartbreaking loss in their World Cup qualifying match on Thursday November 12 at Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila, as Yemen left the Azkals with a 1-nil loss.
Doom came in the 82nd minute when 17-year old substitute Ahmed Al Sarori scored to the dismay of the 6,478 home crowd.
The Azkals are set to close their campaign against their group’s top two teams in 2016 with Uzbekistan on March 24 on the road and North Korea at home five on March 29.
