University of the Philippines (UP) was on its way to a 1st round sweep and their 4th clean sheet in a row at the UAAP Season 73 Men’s Football Tournament.

But a last minute goal from De La Salle University (DLSU) booter Manuel Yuhico denied them the feat.

Yuhico’s equalizer at stoppage time gave UP it’s first draw of the season, with the Green crowd rejoicing and the Maroon fans upset right before the final whistle at the Ateneo field.

The Maroon booters started controlling the game after rookie Gerardo Valmayor’s penalty kick at the 43rd minute sent the ball opposite DLSU keeper Patrick Deyto’s lunge.

UP remains at the top of the fixtures with 4 wins and 1 draw, while DLSU trails with 2 wins and 3 draws.
