De La Salle University’s title bid for the UAAP women’s football crown is still alive with a penalty shootout victory versus University of Santo Tomas.

Goalkeeper Haya Ibarra’s heroic saves limited the España squad to three goals in five attempts while her teammates slotted in four. Both teams failed to score in regulation time.

Twice-to-beat advantage holder UST will face DLSU in a deciding match on Sunday at the Ateneo HS field.
