The UP Fighting Maroons today sent a message to everyone that they’re not the league’s doormats of the past anymore. The Bajar-led squad pinned down Juno Sauler’s Green Archers, 71-66 for its second straight win in UAAP Season 78 Wednesday September 9, at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

UP dominated for most of the game, with the lead going up to as high as 17 in the third quarter. UP now leads the standings with a 2-0 card.
